- He was asked to write a script by Tomu Uchida but the script was never filmed due to Uchida's untimely military conscription.
- He also lectured to lots of film directors and actors : Tomu Uchida, Kintaro Inoue and Buntaro Futagawa; Tokihiko Okada, Michiko Hayama, Ureo Egawa and Atsushi Watanabe.
- For a time, such directors as Kenji Mizoguchi, Tomu Uchida, Minoru Murata, Shigeyoshi Suzuki, and Yutaka Abe, as well as such stars as Tokihiko Okada, Isamu Kosugi, Eiji Nakano, Fumiko Yamaji and Mitsuko Mori made movies there.

( Starvation Straits, 1962 ) which was made into a film under the same name by Tomu Uchida ( " A Fugitive from the Past ", 1965 ), and " Kiri to kage " ( Fog and Shadows, 1963 ), then novels dealing with women's concerns, including " Gobanch?Y鹓iri-r?" ( The Pavilion of the Evening Mist at Gobanch? 1963 ) and " Echizen takeningy?" ( The Bamboo Dolls of Echizen, 1964 ).
