Its origin goes back to the ancient shinto worshipping the nature , and as described in umisachihiko and yamasachihiko of the japanese mythology , fish hooks (grains and fish hooks were categorized in the same concept in ancient times ), bow and arrows were called sachi which referred to sacred things obtained by fishing and hunting (catches , tools and sacred weapons ) ' offered ' to a deity as altarage (seafood and mountain vegetables ). その起源は、自然崇拝である古神道にまで遡り、日本神話の海幸彦と山幸彦にあるように釣針（古くは銛も釣針も一つの概念であった）や弓矢は、幸（さち）といい神に供物（海の幸山の幸）を「奉げる」神聖な漁り（いさり）・狩り（かり）の得物（えもの・道具や神聖な武器）であった。
